Conway Stewart takes great pride in crafting luxury writing instruments that are built to withstand the test of time. However, like all products used on a regular basis they will occasionally require some tender loving care and fine tuning to maintain optimum performance.

By strictly following the recommendations in your care and guarantee booklet supplied with your pen your Conway Stewart should give you generations of superb service.

The Centenary Special Guarantee

In celebration of reaching our centenary year and as a sign of our commitment to the highest quality standards, we have introduced a one hundred year guarantee.

Activating your Centenary Special Guarantee

To cover your pen with this extended protection you simply need to register by completing the attached guarantee form, tearing off the slip and posting it to us at 2 & 3 Haxter Close, Belliver Estate, Plymouth, Devon, PL6 7DD, England.

What the Centenary Special Guarantee provides:

Once your registration has been received (we will acknowledge with receipt) your writing instrument bearing the Conway Stewart Trademark (excluding refill(s)) is guaranteed for 100 years from the date of purchase and will, during this period, be replaced (with same or similar model) at our option free of charge if there is a defect due to faulty materials or workmanship. This extended guarantee is on a 'return to nearest service centre' basis.

Servicing Schedule requirements to validate Centenary Special Guarantee:

To ensure your pen maintains optimum performance and is covered by our Centenary Special Guarantee you must adhere to the following service interventions.

For your centenary special guarantee to remain valid your pen must be returned to Conway Stewart every 5 years from date of purchase to enable Conway Stewart to perform a full service. The full service of your pen will include expert cleaning and polishing of your pen and if necessary the replacement of internal components such as ink sac, converter system, capillary and feeder. We will also ensure your nib is properly aligned to ensure proper ink flow. If the nib is found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship it will also be replaced.

This extended guarantee does not cover defects arising from accidental damage, misuse or wear and tear, or repairs required due to failure to have the pen serviced at an approved Conway Stewart service centre. Failure to return the pen to Conway Stewart for full service every 5 years will invalidate this centenary special guarantee.

The following Conway Stewart models are not covered by the Centenary Special Guarantee: Hand decorated models: Maki-e, Isaac Newton, Shakespeare, and Plymouth Pilgrims. Please follow care guidelines issued with these models.

A full 5 year service is chargeable at the cost of £100.00 GBP.
