King Charles III Coronation Commemorative Penをご紹介します。King Charles IIIの戴冠を記念して製作された、この上ない筆記具です。この限定エディションは、美しく彫刻を施したスターリングシルバーから削り出された見事な逸品で、キャップトップには国王の横顔が精緻に表現されています。
Designed and Made in Britain
本体とキャップにはエンジンターン（ギヨシェ彫り）が施されており、これは宝飾品や時計、筆記具に精緻なギヨシェ模様を施す伝統的な手法です。この彫刻技法により、クラシックな佇まいと手に馴染む感触が生まれています。
本作に使われている模様は、2022年に製作したQueen's Platinum Jubileeペンと同じものであり、ペンを回すと気高い模様が四方へ反射光を放ちます。
キャップトップにはKing Charles IIIの横顔があしらわれており、これはUK Assay Officeの戴冠記念マークによって見事に表現されています。

King Charles III
1948年11月14日生まれのCharles Philip Arthur George Windsorは、Queen Elizabeth IIとPrince Philipの長男です。2022年9月8日に女王が崩御したことに伴い、それまでPrince Charles、Prince of Walesとして知られていたCharlesは、the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Irelandの国王となりました。さらにHead of the Commonwealthともなり、他14のCommonwealth realmsを含む、Australia、Canada、New Zealandなどの君主となりました。
King Charles IIIは戴冠する英国君主の中で最高齢となり、73歳で戴冠を迎えます。1660年から1685年まで在位したCharles II以来、初めてのKing Charlesとなります。

You may select one of our CS 2-tone 18ct gold nibs to be fitted to your pen. They have been acclaimed by many of our customers for their ‘smooth-as-butter’ writing and are available in Extra Fine, Fine, Medium or Broad widths to suit most writing styles. Each nib bears the Conway Stewart logo.
FILLING MECHANISM
This pen has a dual filling system. It is fitted with a converter (reservoir) which allows the user to draw ink from a bottle or alternatively, you may remove the converter and use standard European ink cartridges. All our fountain pens come with 2 complimentary cartridges so you can start to use it immediately. If you prefer to use bottled ink, we recommend our own range of high quality ink, made in England and available in a range of colours.
