コンウェイ・スチュワート シリーズ100 コマンダー ミッドナイトブルー&ゴールドは、数量無制限のエディションです。
2020年に発売した最初のコマンダー・ペンはクラシックブラック&ゴールドで、限定100本のエディションとしてすぐに完売しました。このペンは、北大西洋で重要な輸送船団を護衛し、第二次世界大戦中に洋上で任務にあたった英国海軍のコマンダーたちの功績を称え、記念するためにデザインされました。
この新しいコマンダー・ペンも、1950年代に発売された同じく象徴的なコンウェイ・スチュワート シリーズ100を基にしています。中型サイズのこのペンは、キャップとバレルが緩やかに先細りする「魚雷型」として知られる形状で、大西洋を渡る船が日々直面していた危険を思い起こさせます。
キャップには23ctゴールドメッキを施したスターリングシルバー製のリングが3本あり、最上部のリングはコマンダーRNの袖章のロープ模様を再現するよう手作業で仕上げられています。中央のキャップリングには、品質と純度を示す英国ホールマークが刻印されています。
バレルには、コンウェイ・スチュワートのロゴ、“Series 100” THE COMMANDER、そして“Made in England”の文字が彫刻されています。
トップに配されたゴールドメッキのクリップにより、シャツの胸ポケットに収めた際にペンが目立ちすぎず、日常使いに適した実用性を備えています。
万年筆またはローラーボールでご用意しています。万年筆には18ctゴールドのコンウェイ・スチュワート製ペン先が装着されています(極細字(EF)・細字(F)・中字(M)・太字(B)からお選びいただけ、書き味の太さが異なります)。
各ペンは、蓋にコマンダーRNの袖章をあしらった外箱に入れてお届けし、内箱にはコンウェイ・スチュワートのブラックレザー製プレゼンテーションボックスが収められ、デスク上でのペンスタンドとしてもお使いいただけます。
このペンの製作のきっかけは、名誉あるマスター・マリナーズ・カンパニーの会員であり、“The Maritime Art of Kenneth D Shoesmith”をはじめとする複数の著書を持つグリン・L・エヴァンス氏からのご提案によるものです。

18ct GOLD CONWAY STEWART NIB
You may select one of our Conway Stewart 18ct gold nibs to be fitted to your fountain pen. They have been acclaimed by many of our customers for their ‘smooth-as-butter’ writing experience. Each nib is embossed with the Conway Stewart emblem.
FILLING MECHANISM
This pen has a dual filling system. It is fitted with a converter (reservoir) which allows the user to draw ink from a bottle or alternatively, you may remove the converter and use standard European ink cartridges. All our fountain pens come with 2 complimentary cartridges so you can start to use it immediately. If you prefer to use bottled ink, we recommend our own range of high quality ink, made in England and available in a range of colours.
